New Delhi:  Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following complaints of increased blood sugar levels and high blood pressure.

"The former Railway Minister is undergoing treatment for bloodsugar, high blood pressure and problems in urinary bladder," Mr Yadav's close aide Premchand Gupta told PTI. 

Mr Gupta said that the doctors have said that the 63-year-old RJD chief should be ready for release soon.
